Mosaic’s management team has an extensive breadth and depth of experience gained through many years in private equity investing, fund management, public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, financings, venture capital, and corporate turn-arounds.

Troy Pearce, Chief Operating Officer

Troy has over 20 years of private equity experience, spending much of that time as Vice President of a well-known Calgary-based private equity operation. He has participated in dozens of private equity investments and divestiture initiatives. He has a broad set of experience in sourcing, negotiating and completing new investments, working with management team partners to grow their businesses and eventually realize on these co-endeavors. Troy joined Mosaic in 2013, taking an active leadership role in growing and professionalizing Mosaic’s diverse set of businesses. As Chief Operating Officer he is responsible for the leadership and performance of the Mosaic group of companies. He sits on the boards of several portfolio companies. Troy received an MBA (Finance with Distinction) from the University of Calgary and is a CFA charterholder (2000).

JF Gratton, Vice President, Portfolio Operations

JF brings nearly 20 years of experience to Mosaic from the oil and gas services, manufacturing, construction and engineering sectors. JF began his career in construction and engineering, working with general contractors and a leading EPC firm in Canada. He subsequently moved into project and portfolio management functions, leading and mentoring project teams in oil and gas and mining infrastructure projects. Prior to joining Mosaic, JF held General Manager and Executive Vice President roles for engineering, manufacturing and construction organizations, focused primarily on operations management, continuous improvement and strategic oversight.

JF holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Calgary, Haskayne School of Business, in addition to an engineering degree from McGill University. He has both a Professional Engineering (PEng) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.

Bryce Campbell, Vice President, Portfolio Operations

Bryce brings over 25 years of experience to Mosaic from the oilfield services, financial, and software industries. He has previously held positions as COO and CFO of a publicly traded software firm, president of a computer company, founder of a successful financial services firm and president of an oilfield services manufacturing company. Bryce presently sits on the board of a Calgary-based oilfield services company, has been a guest lecturer at the University of Alberta, and a term instructor at Grant McEwan University. He has a broad range of experience in acquisitions, business expansion, finance, supply chain management and operations. Bryce has a degree in business management from Mount Royal University.

Jack Cristall, Manager, Portfolio Operations

Jack has nine years of experience in accounting, finance, due diligence and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Mosaic, he was with Ernst and Young in the Transaction Advisory Services group, where he provided advisory services for a wide array of industries. Prior to that, he worked in the audit group to service manufacturing, construction, government and other clients. Jack has a Chartered Accountant designation and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree, majoring in accounting and finance from the University of Manitoba.

Kevin Morris, Operations Controller

Kevin has nearly 20 years of experience leading operational teams to improve customer satisfaction and financial performance. He has worked in wide variety of industries including aerospace, logistics, power generation, retail, airline, and oil field services. He’s also held a valuable range of roles from financial analysis, business planning, operations optimization through to CFO. Kevin brings operational and financial leadership to Mosaic’s portfolio companies helping them to improve their financial processes and systems and overall business performance. Kevin has a Bachelor and Masters degree, in accounting from the University of Saskatchewan and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) (2002).
