Mosaic’s management team has an extensive breadth and depth of experience gained through many years in private equity investing, fund management, public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, financings, venture capital, and corporate turn-arounds.

Rob Withers, Senior Vice President, Investments

Rob has over 20 years of extensive experience in private equity, M&A and corporate development across a broad array of businesses and industries, on both the principal and advisor side of transactions. As a member of the investment committee at a mid-market western Canadian based private fund, he was responsible for identifying, analyzing and executing numerous investment, acquisition and exit opportunities. Post investment he has been responsible for the management of the investment over its duration advising management teams, creating and reviewing financial performance, acting as in-house M&A advisor and developing and executing exit strategies to public, private and strategic buyers. Rob has conducted these same investment activities for several high net worth individuals/family offices in relation to their private equity, venture capital, real estate and public market investments.

Rob has considerable board experience including as chairman, with a number of private and public companies He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.

Gord Boersma, Vice President, Investments

Gord spent over 10 years in public accounting, before joining Mosaic, in a variety of roles including corporate restructuring and mergers and acquisitions, focusing on private companies operating in several industries. Gord is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP).

Kameron Erker, Investment Manager

Kameron has nearly a decade of financial analysis, due diligence and transaction experience. Prior to joining Mosaic Kam worked at Ernst and Young in their Transaction Advisory Services group. He performed for both buy-side and sell-side mandates for strategic operators and financial sponsors across a broad number of industries including oil and gas, entertainment, construction, transportation, manufacturing, and distribution. Kameron completed his Chartered Accountant designation with E&Y and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in accounting, from the University of Saskatchewan.
